Vision
To enable and empower Māori and Pasifika communities across south and west Auckland, to foster prosperity, equity and a brighter future for all.
Purpose
To support and enable under-served whānau across south and west Auckland through their learning journey and into ‘jobs with dignity’ and/or Apprenticeships with quality employers.

Māori and Pasifika Trades Training (MPTT) is a national programme funded by the Tertiary Education Commission for Māori and Pasifika peoples aged between 16 and 40 years old.
Courses are designed for Māori and Pasifika to gain a pre-trades qualification as a precursor to starting employment or an apprenticeship related to construction, allied trades, and technology. Training courses can be anywhere from a few weeks to 12 months long and the best part, all courses are fees-free for learners!
Learners
We support Māori and Pasifika learners to gain a pre-trades qualification to support with starting employment or an apprenticeship.
Employers
We partner with organisations across key industries that are looking to provide mana enhancing opportunities for MPTT graduates.
